  • Add metric sources for traffic, leads, reviews, invoices, campaigns, cloud usage, or project activity.
  • Create snapshots to record current numbers over time.
  • Set goals so the dashboard can compare progress against targets.
  • Add notes when a metric changes so the reason is not lost later.

Metric Sources

  • Create a source for each metric category the business wants to track.
  • Examples include leads, bookings, invoices, review requests, tickets, tasks, and storage usage.
  • Use source descriptions to explain where numbers come from and who maintains them.
  • Deactivate sources that are no longer tracked without deleting older snapshots.

Snapshots And Trends

  • Create snapshots at the same cadence when comparing performance over time.
  • Use daily, weekly, monthly, or campaign-end snapshots depending on the metric.
  • Compare current values against previous snapshots to spot movement.
  • Add context notes for spikes, drops, launches, outages, or seasonal changes.

Goals

  • Create goals for measurable outcomes such as new leads, completed jobs, revenue, or response time.
  • Set a target value and due date so progress can be judged clearly.
  • Review goals during staff meetings or business reviews.
  • Close or revise goals when the target, timeline, or business priority changes.

Reporting Workflow

  1. Review the dashboard metrics and recent snapshots.
  2. Update numbers after key business events or at the end of each reporting period.
  3. Add notes to explain why important numbers changed.
  4. Review open goals and decide what needs action.
  5. Use insights to guide follow-up work in CRM, Projects, Campaigns, or Billing.

Suite Integrations

  • CRM can provide lead, contact, deal, and follow-up activity.
  • Billing can provide invoice, estimate, work order, and approval counts.
  • Cloud, Support, Projects, Campaigns, Reviews, and Schedule can provide app activity metrics.
  • Control Panel can provide subscriber status, plan, quota, and app access data later.
Support tip: include the source name, metric value, reporting period, goal, and any connected app involved. Insights stores dashboard records now; automated cross-app reporting depends on suite integration.
